Bey is a beloved Bald Eagle who lives in West Seattle. Wildlife biologist Kersti Muul matched photos of an anomaly in Bey’s left iris to identify her after a rescue.

The Bald Eagle wasn’t officially designated as the national bird of the United States until 2024!
